Israeli Strikes Gaza
At least 68 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in Gaza by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes, according to local civil defence officials. Most of the victims had gathered near aid distribution points, seeking food and medical supplies. The region remains gripped by severe shortages and humanitarian desperation.

Civil defence spokesman Mahmud Bassal reported that 30 people died in the Morag corridor near Khan Yunis. The victims were waiting for humanitarian aid when Israeli forces reportedly opened fire on the crowd. This area is known for attracting civilians in need of emergency relief.

Another 20 Palestinians were killed and over 100 injured near the Zikim border crossing in northern Gaza. Aid trucks have entered Gaza through this route in recent days, drawing large crowds. People continue to gather there daily in hopes of receiving basic necessities.

In response, the Israeli army said its troops only fired warning shots at a group approaching their position. They claimed to be unaware of any casualties and did not comment on the deaths reported near Zikim. Independent verification of the events remains difficult.

These deadly incidents highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where food, water, and medicine are in critically short supply. Aid groups warn that civilians are at increasing risk as attacks occur near known relief sites.
